Operandi.Law advised the sellers (RATP Capital Innovation, Via ID – Mobivia, MAIF Avenir, SODEXO VENTURES FRANCE and INCO Ventures) in the context of the acquisition by BlaBlaCar of Klaxit.

With this acquisition project, BlaBlaCar wishes to integrate Klaxit’s activity in a way that complements BlaBlaCar Daily, an application launched in 2018 by Blablacar that allows people to share home-work journeys and optimize the use of cars on a daily basis. This will enable this tool to be extended to the community and business service segment.

Since 2012, Klaxit has developed expertise in meeting the specific needs of these organizations in terms of sustainable mobility. At a time when daily carpooling appears to be an obvious solution that can be deployed immediately to complement the public transport offer, Klaxit is working with more than 50 local authorities throughout France to subsidize residents’ journeys and make carpooling an economically viable alternative to the private car. Klaxit also works with more than 350 companies to facilitate and organize their employees’ journeys.
