Operandi.Law advised Les Alchimistes in its €10M fundraising with Amundi and SWEN Capital Partners.

Created in Lyon, Les Alchimistes assists professionals and individuals in deploying their own composting platforms. The latter can develop internal solutions for the recovery of this waste.

Les Alchimistes had the idea of a system for the collection and reuse of food waste. The waste is collected from restaurants, supermarkets, schools and hospitals in order to transform it into compost in a short circuit. After treatment and production, it is resold in the form of compost to private individuals through a redistribution network, but also to public players working to re-vegetate cities.

Thanks to this fundraising, the company aims to recover 10% of the food waste in French cities by 2027, to mobilise 7 million French people about soil and composting and to develop composting solutions in 30 territories with more than 200,000 inhabitants.

We are very happy to have been supporting Les Alchimistes since 2017!

The team was composed of Benjamin Galand (partner) and Jules Michelet (associate).
